The Visual Appeal

Anyone wishing to play the Blackjack Professional Series game will be presented with a familiar table game layout, offering up the developer’s usual green felt table design. This is accompanied by the deck of cards displayed in the top right hand corner, while the minimum and maximum bet levels are shown in the top left. Central at the top is the stack of chips, and this is also the dealer’s playing area as well. You’ll also be able to see the words ‘Blackjack Pays 3 to 2’ followed by ‘Dealer must stand on 17 and must draw to 16’ and finally, ‘Insurance Pays 2 to 1’, giving you some idea on the types of pay outs provided. At the bottom of the table is your playing area, and there are three different card-shaped sections that you’re able to wager on. Next to each of these is a circle showing the ‘J’ in a spade symbol, which we’ll get to shortly.

The minimum wager that you’re able to place on this game stands at €1, while the overall maximum wager that you can place is €40. The chips that you’re able to utilise to make up your wager can be seen in the bottom right hand corner, and these are offered up at the values of €1, €5 and €10, while a final chip in grey with a red ‘x’ on it allows you to clear off any already played bets. Further customisation of the game enables you to turn on and off the different sounds, as well as adjust the speed of your own game play.

How to Play and the Winnings

You need to decide upon the type of wager that you would like to place, and you’re able to place various different values on each of the three card-shaped icons. Alternatively, you can play on just one of them, or two. The choice is yours. You simply need to click on the chip you want to play and then click on the section you wish to place a wager on. Then, you proceed onwards by pressing the ‘Deal’ button. This will provide you with two cards for each of the hands you are betting on. You can also place a bet on the aforementioned smaller circle, which is the ‘Double Jack Side Bet’. Should you be dealt a pair of jacks on one of these, you will be rewarded with higher pay outs. You simply need to then try and make your cards up to as close to 21 as possible without going over that total. This is done either by sticking with a particular amount or using the ‘Hit’ button to be dealt further cards. After you have gone through each of your hands, the dealer will then play his, and any winning hands that you have in comparison to the dealer’s will be paid out accordingly.

Pay outs, as noted previously, are displayed in general across the middle of the table. The highest reward that you’re able to receive is for being dealt a blackjack, which is a card valued at 10 (including the picture cards) as well as an Ace, this will automatically be considered a winning hand, and you’ll receive 1.5 times your wager placed. You will also automatically lose if the dealer is provided with a blackjack. If both yourself and the dealer receive a blackjack deal, you will tie and you receive your bet back.
